Thinking we might be a good fit?
Getting Started
If you’re interested in exploring whether therapy may be a good fit, you’re welcome to request a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation using the contact form. This brief call is a supportive space for us to connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and see whether my approach feels aligned with your needs. It is not a therapy session, and no treatment takes place during this call.
For scheduling questions or to get started, you may also reach out by email or phone. Messages are typically returned within 1–2 business days.

Before You Arrive
Starting therapy is an important step, and I want your first visit to feel as comfortable and grounded as possible. Here are a few things that may help you prepare for your in-person or telehealth session.
-
You’ll have several parking options (off-street, free lot behind the building, or the Metro Station garage across the street). Arriving a bit early can help you settle in and feel more at ease.
-
Your appointment confirmation will include the exact office details and instructions for entering the building. If you have any accessibility needs, please let me know so I can support you.
-
Water, a journal, tissues, or simply a few deep breaths before entering the space — whatever helps you arrive fully and gently is welcome.
If You’re Coming In-Person
-
Choose a place where you feel safe speaking freely and won’t be interrupted. Headphones can help with privacy and sound quality.
-
A stable internet connection ensures we can spend our time focused on you, not troubleshooting. If issues arise, we’ll sort them out together.
-
Click the secure link 2–3 minutes ahead of time to settle in and make sure everything is working.
If You’re Joining by Telehealth
What You Don’t Need to Prepare
You don’t need a perfect life story, a polished explanation of your symptoms, or answers to big questions before starting therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out. That is what therapy is for. Just bring yourself. Your story can unfold at a pace that feels right for you.
If You Feel Nervous
Feeling unsure before a first session is completely normal. Many people do. You will be guided through the process step by step, with space to ask questions at any time. There is no expectation to know what to say or where to begin. Only to take the next step.
